WhatsApp To Introduce Fingerprint Authentication For Its Web Version
SAN FRANCISCO: WhatsApp, the world’s largest mobile messaging app, is gearing up to deliver great good news to consumers.
According to WhatsApp watchdog experts, the most popular messaging app has completed work on a ‘fingerprint’ login feature for users using the desktop version.
The feature is currently being used by employees, after which it will be offered to users of the beta version so that any vulnerabilities can be removed before they are introduced.
The feature will now allow users to use the WhatsApp on the computer with fingerprint login as an option, whereas now they have to scan the QR code from mobile to log in.
