Inflation continued to decline across the country for the second week of this month.
The Federal Bureau of Statistics (FBS) released a weekly report on inflation, which showed a drop in prices of 11 items, including tomatoes, flour and garlic, in one week.
According to the report, prices of 16 items have increased during the week while prices of 22 items have remained stable.
According to the Bureau of Statistics, inflation has declined by 0.07% in one week.
Tomatoes have become cheaper by Rs 4.06 per kg, garlic by Rs 2.38 per kg, onion by 46 paise per kg, 20 kg bag of wheat by Rs 4.69 per kg, and groundnut by Rs 3.31 per kg.
On the other hand, according to the data, the price of potato has gone up by 56 paise per kg, chicken by Rs 22.47 per kg, eggs by 41 paise per dozen and sugar by 57 paise per kg in a week.
