Wearing face masks mandatory for Karachi residents leaving home

Commissioner Karachi declared that residents leaving their homes must, in all circumstances, wear face masks when they step out.

A notification said, “Face masks are mandatory for all people who come out of the houses for a valid reason or are exempted during the lockdown. The mask shall cover the nose, mouth and chin.”

“Sanitizing and cleaning hands after every activity and wherein necessary shall he strictly ensured,” it added.

Furthermore, every employee will be examined before allowing them entrance to their workplace.

If there are signs of flu, cough or fever, the notice reads he/she should be referred to the hospital immediately.
