Weapon on rent from City Court treasury scandal

The dangerous criminals arrested by Shahra-e-Noorjahan police has made important revelations during interrogation on Monday. Robbers get firearms on rent from City Court. The accused are also involved in a robbery worth Rs 60 million.
According to details, Shahra-e-Noorjahan police station in the North Nazimabad area of Karachi conducted a successful operation near Paposh graveyard and arrested two most wanted accused involved in serious criminal activities.
In this regard, SSP Central Malik Murtaza told the media that weapons have been recovered from the arrested Shehryar alias Masoom Bengali and Saeed Bengali.

According to the police, the accused had committed a robbery in Iqbal Market 5 days ago and in Surjani Town 2 months ago. Besides, the accused Shehryar is also involved in a robbery worth Rs 6 crore in Hyderabad.
SSP Central said that the arrested accused has made surprising revelations during the interrogation. The accused said that he came out of jail after serving 10 years and then started committing crimes again.
The accused also said in his confessional statement that arms were rented from the treasury of the City Court Karachi to commit crimes.
Police officials further said that the accomplice of the accused, fugitive Khalil, was also involved in car lifting.
