“We will save democracy instead of government”: Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui
MQM-Pakistan Chief Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has said that we have taken the responsibility of saving democracy not the government.
Addressing the General Workers Meeting of MQM Pakistan in Karachi, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that if one has to choose between the government and democracy then democracy will be saved. The situation is changing day by day. It seems that even the decision makers do not know what is going on.
Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that PML-N and PPP have been tested, PTI is also being tested, present government has not fulfilled many promises, PPP’s experience has not been good, PML-N has a bitter experience but there are also some good memories, they funded us for Hyderabad University, K4 and Green Line.
Criticizing the PPP, Khalid Maqbool said that they have not left their option for us but talks are going on to demand our rights. The delegation will go for a meeting tomorrow.
