We will not allow stealing of votes now: Maryam Nawaz

SKARDU: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz on Thursday said that Pakistan’s politics had changed now and they would not allow stealing of votes.

“We will not allow snatching of votes in Gilgit-Baltistan and if you tried that the world will witness your consequences,” said the PML-N vice president while addressing a rally in Gamba, Skardu.

Maryam Nawaz asked the people of GB to promise that they would not vote for the party which snatched their votes. She said if anyone felt like votes were being stolen then they should make video of the incident and make them viral.

She said the one who could not tolerate pressure, he would never be there for help of the people.

“The fake prime minister who promised to make GB a province is the same guy who promised to give one crore jobs to the masses, bring the change in nine days and build 50,000 houses and fulfilled none of them,” she said.

The PML-N leader said she could realize that PM himself was doing a job and he did not know even about his own right. She said the one who did not respect his own self, how he could respect people.

She said no institute had the authority on the decision that who will make the government in GB. If vote was not theft, then Nawaz Sharif will win the election, she maintained.

She said Nawaz Sharif gave the right to himself. Public representatives face torture but they do not withdraw from serving masses, she added.

Maryam said if you stamped on lion’s symbol on the election day it would be as if you stamped on your development.
