“We have to unite different nationalities and minorities into one nation”: President Alvi

Islamabad: President Dr. Arif Alvi said that we have to unite different nationalities and minorities in one nation.
Addressing to the Pakistan Day parade, President Arif Alvi said that Pakistan Day is an important day in the history of the subcontinent in many respects. On this day, Muslims demanded “separate state” instead of “separate election”.
He said, on that day the Muslims made it clear to the British that the Congress was not a representative political party of the Muslims. On that day the Muslims made it clear that the partition of the subcontinent could not be further delayed.
The President said that it was our duty to pay homage to the founders who took timely and wise political decisions for the nation.
Dr. Arif Alvi further said that all the challenges facing Pakistan can be overcome through collective efforts, the day is not far when Pakistan will become an economically strong and prosperous country.
