Water level in Keenjhar Lake near dead level, Karachi may face water shortage
The water level in Keenjhar Lake has reached near dead level which has created a danger of water shortage in Karachi.
The assistant engineer of Keenjhar Lake said that the water level in the lake has come down from 56 to 48 feet and when the water level reaches 42 feet, water supply to Karachi will be cut off.
The Assistant Engineer said that 1200 cusecs of water was supplied to Karachi daily from this lake.
