Voting on No-Confidence motion to be held after March 27: Faisal Javed

ISLAMABAD: Senator Faisal Javed has said that voting on No-Confidence motion will be held after March 27.
Earlier, in an informal conversation with media in Islamabad, Senator Faisal Javed had confirmed the date of March 28 for voting on the No-Confidence motion.
However, he later said in a statement on Twitter that the biggest public gathering in the history of Pakistan will be held on Sunday, March 27 at Azadi Chowk Islamabad.
He said the no-confidence motion would be voted on after March 27.
Earlier, a meeting of the PTI core committee was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister in which consultation has been completed on convening a meeting of the National Assembly.
According to sources, in the core committee meeting, Asad Umar briefed Babar Awan on liaison with coalition parties and parliamentary affairs advisor, while the provincial presidents briefed on the party’s organizational matters.
Sources said that the National Assembly session is likely to be convened on March 21 and voting on the no-confidence motion is likely to be held on March 29.
Sources further said that the core committee has given all the decisions related to No-Confidence motion to the Prime Minister.
According to sources, the Prime Minister expressed full confidence in the allies and said that the allies are not going anywhere, they are with us and all our preparations are complete, the situation is satisfactory.
According to sources, the core committee has agreed to hold the largest gathering in the history of country at D-Chowk while PTI has agreed to continue its aggressive policy. It was decided in the core committee meeting that political rallies would be continued across the country while rallies would be held in more cities of the country.
