In 19 years of history, Lux style awards were held online for the first time due to the pandemic. As the corona-virus outbreak has put a halt on almost every social event therefore, Unilever decided to cancel the physical gathering for the safety of the Jury, nominees, and organizers.

Their whole process was done virtually from revealing their nominations to the voting process. Now, they have declared their winners online too. Although this time around everybody will have the best seats available for the award show as a virtually recorded ceremony of the announcement of winners will be dropped near the end of this year.
The Lux style award is celebrating all the talent that shone through 2020, as much as this year has confided everybody into the four walls of their homes, the entertainment industry was the only way to keep up with the outside world. So, they must be rewarded with this prestigious honor.
The late-model, Zara Abid is awarded as the female model of the year following Hasnain Lehri as a male model of the year.

The popular drama of Pakistan this year, ‘mere pass tum ho’ and critically acclaimed film ‘laal Kabotar’ won best TV play and best film respectively.
Mahira Khan won big and took home both awards, best film actress viewer’s and critic’s choice.

The critics awarded best film actor to Rashid Farooqui, best TV actor to Zahid Ahmed for Ishqzahenaseeb. Iqra Aziz was the favorite TV actress of critics for her outstanding performance in Ranjha Ranjha kardi.

Viewer’s favorite bhola, Imran Ashraf is honored as the best actor according to viewers. Yumna Zaidi won the hearts of audiences as the best television actress. Ahmed Ali Akbar was the finest film actor of 2020 in the eyes of audiences.

Including the above categories, there is a total of 28 categories. Two Lifetime achievements awards will also be given to Anwar Maqsood and Tapu Javeri for their astounding achievements and work over the years in their respective fields.
