Veena Malik, her ex-husband advised to settle children custody matter out of court

Actress, TV host and model, Veena Malik has assured that she will bring her children to meet their father and her ex-husband Asad Khattak, whenever the court orders.

Veena Malik and Asad Bashir tied the knot in December 2014 and had two kids – Abram Khan and Amal Khan but the couple got separated in January 2017.

Veena’s appeal challenging a family court decision in the divorced couple’s case for child custody was heard on Wednesday by a single-judge bench of the Sindh High Court (SHC) under the supervision of Justice Salahuddin Pahnwar. Due to an SHC order, Veena brought both of her kids into the court.

The Judge advised the couple that “Try to settle your matters out of court”. “We are making efforts in this regard. We hope the matter will be resolved,” the counsel for the petitioner said.

Asad Khattak’s lawyer stated that his client fears Veena would take the children abroad. “If she takes the children abroad, she will have to bring them back to meet their father. It is a father’s right to meet his children,” Justice Panhwar remarked.

Veena assured that the judge that she would bring the children to see their father whenever the court ordered.
