ISLAMABAD: The vaccination process of the people aged 30 years and above against Covid-19 will start from Saturday (tomorrow).
Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar said the decision in this regard was taken at a meeting of the National Command and Operation Centre on Friday (today).
In a tweet, Asad Umar said the messages for those, who are being scheduled, will go out today.
102 people have died of covid-19 during last 24 hours in Pakistan, while positivity ratio dropped to 5.95 percent as 3,070 people were tested positive out of 51,528 tests conducted in one day.
The detailed report about side-effects of coronavirus vaccines experienced in Pakistan so far reveals that out of 3.8 million, only 4,329 negative side-effects had been reported. 35.7 percent of the people who suffered side effects had a fever or shivering.
33.1 percent of them felt pain at the site where the vaccine was injected. 15.4 percent people had headache, body pain or flu. While, 6.7 percent had diarrhea and 8.9 percent people experienced minor issues.
