WASHINGTON: The US Senate has passed a bill to limit President Donald Trump’s power to wage war against Iran.
According to bill, President Trump will remove US troops engaged in hostilities against Iran unless Congress declares war or passes a specific authorization for the use of military force.

The bill passed by 55-45 with eight senators of Trump’s Republican Party also cast their votes in favour of the bill.
On Feb 10, the United States had confirmed that over 100 its troops diagnosed with brain injuries from Iran’s missile attack in Iraq.
In a statement, Pentagon had said that so far 109 US service members had been diagnosed with mild traumatic brain injury.
Earlier, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Army General Mark Milley, had said that the service members suffering from traumatic brain injuries had been diagnosed with mild cases. Meanwhile, US Republican Senator Joni Ernst had said more answers were needed in this regard.
