Urgent PDM meeting called by Fazl ur Rehman today

Maulana Fazl ur Rehman, chairman of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has summoned an urgent meeting of alliance leadership on Saturday (today) to discuss the important matters of nation, rising inflation, and petrol price hike situation of the country.
In the urgent meeting of PDM, the opposition will also discuss their strategy joint session of the parliament. The government has on November 10 has called for the joint session of parliament in which 18 bills will be discussed and sought approval from the parliament. One of the important bills is about the use of electronic voting machines for the upcoming elections.
The leadership in the PDM meeting will also discuss their nationwide protests against the PTI’s government. Apart from that, an increase in petrol price and inflation will be the most important matter to give major attention to.

Yesterday after the Rs 8.03 increase in petrol prices per liter, Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz president Shahbaz Sharif and Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari communicated to discuss the recent price jack-up of petrol as well as the inflation. Both of them agreed that PTI’s government was not able to control the inflation and the economy of Pakistan is going downward.
As per the reports, the PPP co-chairman highly criticized the Prime Minister about the announcement of the relief package. He went on to say that a “lollipop” was given to the nation in the name of a relief package. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari further said that this relief package was announced to provide relief to just a few families, not the nation.
It should be mentioned that Prime Minister Imran Khan announced a relief package for the masses a day before yesterday in which he hinted that government will have to increase the price of petroleum supplies in the future as the international market rates are going up rapidly.
