Unknown assailant killed Chinese national doctor in Karachi
A Chinese national doctor has been killed by an unknown assailant at his clinic near the Saddar area of Karachi.
Two other injured, one man and one woman were taken to hospital. All of the three were Chinese nationals, SSP south Asad Raza said.
Ronald Raymond Chou 25, Margrade 72, and Richard 74, were inside the dental clinic in Saddar when the attacker pretended to be a patient entered the clinic and opened fire. The suspect was around 30 years old wearing a blue shirt and trouser.
“A man with bullet wounds was brought dead to the Dr. Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital,” Police surgeon Dr. Summaiya Syed said.
The two injured were rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical center in critical condition both injured by bullets in their abdomen.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali shah condemn the attack and took notice of the killing. CM ordered the immediate arrest of the attacker and said such incidents are unacceptable.
Earlier, a woman suicide bomber blew herself up in University of Karachi’s (KU) Confucius Institute targeting a vehicle carrying three Chinese teachers in April this year.
