The United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres will arrive in Islamabad on Sunday (February 16, 2020) to attend the International Conference on Afghan Refugees.
The UN Secretary-General would call on the President and the Prime Minister during his four day stay. He will consult with Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, as well. During these meetings, Pakistan’s viewpoint will be shared with the UN Secretary-General on all aspects of the Jammu and Kashmir disputes.

Certain responsibilities of the Secretary-General include meetings with parliamentarians, media and the youth. He will hold special talks on sustainable development, climate change and peacekeeping issues.
The general secretary will pay a visit to Lahore, and will also fly to Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib.
