Indian film comedy king and actor Johnny Lever has expressed his best wishes for the speedy recovery of Pakistani comedy king Umar Shareef.
According to a report, actor Johnny Lever shared a video on social media in which he said that he was saddened to hear about the illness of Umar Shareef who made the whole world laugh.
The Indian actor expressed his best wishes for Umar Shareef and appealed to his fans to pray for the Pakistani comedian’s speedy recovery. He has been suffering from an illness for some time now. Umar’s son Jawad had said that his father was suffering from a heart disease and was undergoing treatment for which he was admitted to the hospital.
A couple of days ago, Host of ARY News programme ‘11th Hour’, Waseem Badami had met legendry actor and comedian Umar Shareef ago and inquired about his health. Through him Umar Shareef had given a message to his fans and Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The actor is suffering from such a disease which cannot be treated in Pakistan. In a video message, he had said doctor had recommended him to go to America for better treatment.
He had not sought any financial help from the government rather he had sought help only regarding arrangements for his traveling such as visa and air ambulance.
Reminding Imran Khan about his service for his hospital, he had said that it was in his fate to help him in construction of Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital. He had said whenever Imran Khan contacted him he had responded affirmatively and he was positive that the PM would also be present for him when contacted.
Spokesperson and Special Assistant to PM on Political Communication Dr Shahbaz Gill had said the government would take measures for the best health treatment of Umar Shareef. He had said the government would contact embassies of the United States, Germany and Saudi Arabia for him.
