UK, KSA call for cooperation to reduce economic burden of coronavirus pandemic

The UK and Saudi Arabia have stressed on concerted measures to reduce the economic costs of coronavirus pandemics, according to sources.

The expression was articulated during a telephone call between Crown Prince Mohamad bin Salman of Saudi Arabia and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The two sides have spoken about medical approaches to prevent and treat the virus.

They also agreed to cooperate during the Saudi presidency of G20, according to Saudi-owned Al Arabiya television said.
