ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has revealed that the government has decided to contact the British government for extraditing former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and hold inquiry into his medical reports.
“Contacting the British government for Nawaz Sharif’s return and inquiries into medical reports are correct decisions. Nawaz Sharif’s leaving for London hurt the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI)’s narrative and the process of accountability,” he said in a tweet.
The federal minister said that those embroiled in preparing fake medical reports of the Pakistan Muslim League-N supremo should be given exemplary punishment.

Talking to Hum News, he said the federal cabinet cogitated over extraditing Nawaz Sharif and devised a strategy bring him back.
Last night Information Minister Shibli Faraz had said that the government would contact the British government through Foreign Office in this regard. Addressing media, Shibli Faraz said that Nawaz has stayed in London on excuse of his ailment and he did not get conducted even his x-ray.
He said the ex-PM should face the court trial in Pakistan. “We believe that it is necessary to bring Nawaz Sharif back now and our efforts have been expedited now.”
