Two-year-old minor martyred in firing by Indian troops across LoC: ISPR

A two-year-old boy died while four people were wounded on Sunday after Indian troops resorted to unprovoked fire from across the Line of Control (LoC).

In a tweet on Monday, Major General Director of Inter-Services Public Relations Babar Iftikhar (DG ISPR) said Indian troops have resorted to unprovoked firing in the Baroh, Dhudnial, Rakhchikri and Chirikot Sectors over the last 24 hours.
He further reported that a two-year old-minor Muhammad Haseeb in Dhudnial Sector was martyred due to the indiscriminate Indian fire of heavy weapons and mortars. The DG ISPR added that there were serious injuries sustained by four people in Baroh, Rakhchikri and Chirikot Sectors including a woman and 72-year-old senior citizen.
“Injured have been evacuated to nearby health facility for necessary medical care,” DG ISPR tweeted.
According to DG ISPR, Pakistan Army reacted effectively and attacked the posts of the Indian Army that initiated fire.
