Two suspects escaped from court after interim bail dismissal in Jazlan murder case
The suspects, Muhammad Faiz and his son; Ahsan Faiz, fled from the Malir court after their interim bail was dismissed in the young Jazlan murder case.
The main accused Hasnain Faiz, his brothers Irfan Faiz, Ahsan Faiz, their father Muhammad Faiz and friend Anshal were named in the case of killing young Jazlan Faisal over a dispute on May 25.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Malir heard the interim bail applications of Mohammad Faiz and Ahsan then pronounced the verdict.
The judge noted that the applicants failed to make out a case for the confirmation of their interim bail. Therefore, the judge rejected their requests and dismissed their applications.
The two accused managed to escape after their interim bail application was rejected, said witnesses and police, who were present in the courtroom.
In the previous hearing, investigating officer Inspector Aslam Jutt submitted an interim challan and stated that the prime accused’s father, his three sons and their friends allegedly killed Jazlan with a licensed pistol and trying to conceal the evidence and weapon to hush up the offence.
It may be recalled that on May 25, 19-year-old Jazlan Faisal was shot dead by the accused over a dispute in Bahria Town, Karachi, while his friend Shah Mir Ali was injured.
