RAWALPINDI: Two soldiers embraced martyrdom while as many were injured in an IED attack on security forces’ vehicle near Miran Shah in North Waziristan district.
The incident took place when the troops were conducting routine patrolling in South East of Miran Shah.

The martyrs include Subedar Aziz and Lance Naik Mushtaq.
On May 30, an alleged Daesh terrorist had been arrested during a joint operation by Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Karachi Police and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
Weapons and ammunition, used in terror activities, had been recovered from the suspect identified as Sikandar Khan, son of Kamil Jan, in Karachi.
The suspect had revealed during interrogation that he had been associated with the Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan before 2019. He was sent to jail in 2013 after he was arrested in Karachi for involvement in heinous terrorist activities. Later, he was transferred to Mardan jail.
