Two soldiers martyred, four terrorists killed in North Waziristan

RAWLPINDI: Two Pakistan Army soldiers embraced martyrdom and four were wounded in an exchange of fire with terrorists in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan.

The media wing of armed forces, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the terrorists opened fire on the troops after the security personnel cordoned off the area. It said four suspects were shot dead in exchange of fire.

The culprits were allegedly embroiled in extortion, kidnapping for ransom, IED explosions and attacks on security forces.

The martyred have been identified as 42-year-old Naib Subedar Amin Ullah, a resident of Chitral, and 24-year-old Sepoy Sher Zaman, a resident of Landi Kotal. Their dead bodies were sent to their villages.
