KARACHI: Two Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) members of Sindh assembly have withdrawn their decision to join the ruling provincial party, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani has confirmed that Aslam Abro and Shaharyar Shar had taken their decision back to join the PPP. The PTI leaders have sent video messages to Saeed Ghani, Nisar Khuhro and other PPP leaders confirming that they are no more joining their party. They also sent screenshots of these messages to PTI (Sindh) President Haleem Adil Shaikh.
A day ago, Aslam and Shaharyar had expressed disappointment over policies of the PTI.
The MPAs had reportedly demanded from the PPP to give them party ticket for by-elections, which was not entertained after some PPP leaders expressed reservation over that. This led the MPAs to reverse their decision.
