KARACHI: On Friday, the Counter-Terrorism Department arrested two suspected target killers belonging to the London chapter of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), officials said.
According to details, the suspects were arrested during a raid near Nagan Chowrangi area. The killers are identified as Mohammad Jan and Asadullah Khan, CTD official told at a press conference.
The CTD official said that the arrested hit men had confessed to murdering six people and dumping their bodies.
Adding more to the details, the suspects confessed of opening fire on political rallies as well as setting several vehicles ablaze in Karachi on May 12, 2007.
They were said to be close companions of former MQM office-bearer Hammad Siddiqui.
