Two men arrested who gang-raped minor flood-victim girl in Karachi
Karachi police and Tando Allahyar police have arrested two men who gang-raped a 9-year-old flood victim girl in the posh Clifton area of metropolis.
One suspect has been arrested from Karachi and the other from Tando Allahyar city of Sindh. The police said that both the suspects have been arrested with the help of CCTV footage.
The case:
The girl was raped on the night of Saturday (October 22) in Block 4 of Clifton, after which the girl was shifted to the hospital where she was undergoing treatment.
The minor victim girl’s family came to Karachi from Shikarpur district of flood-hit Sindh.
The children had come to Karachi with their mother, the family used to sleep on roads as they own no house in Karachi.
According to the police, the girl went missing on the Saturday’s morning and when she returned to her mother in the evening, her condition was unwell.
An inquiry committee was formed on the orders of Additional IG Karachi which is investigating the matter further.
