Two killed in speeding truck-car collision on Okara’s Depalpur Road

Two people died and two were injured following the collision of a speeding truck into a car on Okara’s Depalpur Road on Tuesday.

A rescue team was called and the bodies of the wounded were transferred to a hospital. According to the doctors, the wounded are clear of danger.

“The truck was speeding when it collided into the car,” a rescue officer said. “The driver of the truck managed to escape from the scene,” he further added.

The rescue team had the car and other remnants removed from the road at night.
