KARACHI: Police have arrested two key suspects including a scavenger in Marwa rape-slay case.
The five-year-old girl was raped and murdered in Eesa Nagri area of Karachi. The arrested suspects have been identified as Abdullah and Fezu Afghani. Both the suspects hold Pakistani CNIC and passport as well.
Sources said Fezu is a tailor, while Abdullah is a scavenger and they live in the same locality of Marwa. Abdullah was deported after spending seven years in the United Kingdom on Pakistani passport.
Investigation sources said that they possessed crucial evidence against the suspects. They said Fezu abducted the minor girl and tried to rape her, while Abdullah sexually abused the girl. Sources said the girl was murdered before raping her.
