Two fire brigade employees gunned down in Karachi
On late Friday night unidentified armed persons opened fire on fire brigade office in Karachi, killing two officials and leaving one injured. The incident happened at Bilal Chowrangi area of Korangi.
Two men died on the spot. While one was injured. According to details the two people killed were fire brigade officials. 35 years old Amir and 55 years old Mehboob both were in office when attacker opened fire. Korangi fire brigade station incharge said that the deceased employees were working in this office for a long time.
According to initial reports the armed men walked towards the fire brigade office and opened fire. One of the eye witnesses, Zeeshan who was in the office when this incident happed, told reporters that “2 armed men entered into office and inquired about security guard. Then he took me and other 3 employees into control room”
Zeeshan further said “that the armed man opened fire but it was a misfire. After the second fire, Amir tried to control the attacker and I got a chance to escape from there. All the workers were sleeping at the time of incident.” Police took Zeeshan into custody and started their investigation
