SANGHAR: Two dead bodies have been found lying in a house with rope around neck on Friday (today), in Sanghar, a district of Sindh.
According to the sources, the deceased hailed from Sindh’s Sanghar and have been identified as cousins.
The noosed dead bodies were found by neighbours, revealed the police.
The police further stated that reason behind the murders is yet unknown to police and bodies have been shifted to the hospital.
Earlier in April, at least 16 Shangla-based labourers, who had been missing since 2011, were found dead as they were recovered from a mass grave in Kohat.
Sources have confirmed that the local authorities have sent the dead bodies to their native town for burial. According to media reports, the victims were among the 34 coalminers who were kidnapped by militants in the former Khyber Agency nearly a decade ago.
Around 32 of the kidnapped miners belonged to the Shangla district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, out of which. the dead bodies of 16 miners were recovered after 10 years on Friday.
Locals informed media that the miners appeared to have been killed soon after their abduction; some of their bodies were identified through their clothes, while some were recognisable through their physical features
Earlier, a similar case was reported in March when four bullet-riddled bodies were found buried in a local graveyard in Jani Khel area.
