LAHORE: Pakistan Counter-Terrorism Department on Thursday arrested two brothers from Lahore over suspicion of their embroilment in the attack on Chinese nationals’ vehicle in an area near Dasu Dam in Kohistan.
The suspects hail from Quetta and they were owner of the vehicle which was used in the attack. They had been residing in Defence Block-P of Lahore for last 15 years.
According to a report of local media, connections were established between attack on Chinese team in Dasu and Johar Town blast in Lahore. Both the teams of terrorists had links with Indian spy agency, RAW.
On July 15, at least 13 people were killed as explosion hit a bus of Dasu Dam workers in the region of Upper Kohistan.
According to reports, nine Chinese nationals and four locals including two FC personnel were among the victims. Meanwhile, more than three dozen people were injured in the incident.
