Twitterites relive Pakistan’s historic Champions Trophy final victory against India

On this day in 2017, unpredictable Pakistan beat India by 180 runs to bag Champions Trophy 2017.

India had been giving splendid performance throughout the tournament. In first faceoff with Pakistan they even beat them emphatically and they were expecting to continue the winning streak against Green Shirts in the final as well.

It is when Pakistan, which is regarded as one of the most unpredictable side, scored massive 338 for 4 in their 50 overs. Fakhar Zaman’s 114 runs were supported by Azhar Ali (59) and Mohammed Hafeez (57). While, Mohammad Amir and Hasan Ali shared three scalps apiece. Amir gave 16 runs only in six overs including two maiden and Ali gave 19 runs in 6.3 overs with one maiden. Star Indian batsman was caught out on Amir’s ball for 5.
