Twitter rolls out ‘Edit Button’ feature for Blue subscribers
The social media giant Twitter has finally rolled out its most awaited feature of ‘Edit Button’ to the Twitter Blue subscribers in Australia, New Zealand and Canada regions.
Twitter started testing the edit button feature, which allow users to edit their tweets, in September 2022 and now the feature is available to the company’s paid service Twitter Blue users in specific regions.
The feature of the Edit button in Twitter is the most requested feature by the users.
According to the company, Twitter Blue users in Canada, Australia and New Zealand can now use this feature, but it has not yet been rolled out in the US.
The company has not said whether this feature can be introduced for general users in the near future or not.
A tweet can be edited within 30 minutes of posting it.
According to the company, edited tweets will appear with a timestamp and label that will let readers know that the original tweet has been edited.
Facebook, Instagram and many other social media platforms have had this feature for a long time.
