 Twitter reportedly plans to charge $20 a month for Blue tick accounts

Twitter plans to start charging nearly $20 a month for users to keep their blue checkmarks as part of a premium service that will be rolled out under Elon Musk’s leadership, according to a report.

Elon Musk has initiated major changes since taking control of Twitter, in which he has decided to completely overhaul the user verification process.

Elon Musk said in his tweet that Twitter will reconsider the method of user verification, changes are being made immediately in the entire verification process.

Elon Musk did not give more details in this regard in his tweet, however, some media reports have stated that users who have a blue tick on Twitter will be charged a fee.

The report states that users will have to subscribe to Twitter Blue for $20 per month.

According to reports, Elon Musk has not yet made a final decision, but the verification of accounts with blue ticks will now be part of Twitter.
