The Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, on Monday (today) revealed that the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has invited Prime Minister Imran Khan to Turkey.
Shah Mehmood was on three day trip to Turkey where the “high-level” consultation between President Erdogan and PM Khan was discussed with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Çavusoglu.
He met Afghan Foreign Minister Hanif Atmar, High Council for National Reconciliation head Abdullah Abdullah and foreign ministers of other Central Asian countries at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi also met the European Union’s high representative for Turkey who asked him to arrange a working visit of PM Khan to Brussels.
Earlier, on June 17, Shah Mehmood Qureshi left for Turkey on a three day official visit on the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
