A Turkish group will invest in Pakistan’s real estate and construction sectors.

Shafiq Akbar, Chairman, Building Group of Companies, hosted a ceremony in Islamabad to discuss cooperation in these areas, which was attended by officials from a leading Turkish business group, Spanish delegates and other dignitaries.

Addressing the function, Shafiq Akbar said that Pakistan has a lot of potential in the real estate sector and related sectors.

Mustafa Sak, an official of the Turkish company, said that the partnership of Turkish companies with Pakistani companies would be more supportive, Pak-Turkish friendly relations would be further strengthened.

He said Pakistan and Turkey were negotiating a preferential agreement that would boost bilateral trade in transport, telecommunications, manufacturing, tourism, and other industries.

Federal Minister Hamad Azhar, Shehryar Afridi, Special Assistant Usman Darne also addressed the function while Turkish Ambassador, Special Assistant Zulfiqar Bukhari and several dignitaries attended the event.
