Asil Ozbay, a Turkish biker woman, currently travelling different countries in the region has appreciated the hospitality and love she received in Pakistan.
“The amount of love I have received here is unparalleled. I will like to visit the country again in the future,” she said while talking to a TV channel. She also enjoyed the varieties of local food in the country.
She is a professor at a university in Istanbul and every year plans her summer vacations out to travel and experience different countries and cultures. She travelled all the way from Istanbul on her bike then Iran and now reached Pakistan just in 15 days. From here, she will head to India and after that Nepal.
Asil Ozbay entered Pakistan through Iran on a heavy bike. Police escorted her 600 km away from the border towards Quetta. Later, she reached Gujarat and then visited Lahore as well.
She said she wanted to explore Pakistan and Iran to highlight their positive sides and share them on social media, as these countries have been projected wrongly on international media. She admitted that Pakistani people treated her like a sister as they were fond of Turkey and its people.
Ozbay has described Pakistan as the safest country for a woman to travel in the region.
