“Aamir Bhai gave you a career and didn’t murder you, stop comparing yourself to Noor Mukadam”: says Mathira to Syeda Tuba
A few days ago, late Aamir Liaquat’s 2nd wife Syeda Tuba talked about the victim blaming she faced after the demise of the renowned television host and also made her comparison to Noor Mukaqdam. To which Mathira called her out by saying her an attention seeker.
Pakistan’s rising actress and late Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s ex-wife Syeda Tuba Anwar recently appeared in an interview on BBC Urdu and talked about her entry into the showbiz industry and victim blaming.
After the death of Aamir Liaquat Hussain in June, people criticized the actress on social media. Netizens accused Tuba of using Aamir Liaquat just for her own success and place in showbiz. While addressing this issue, Tuba said, “even before my marriage, I was associated with the showbiz industry and was working as a producer”.
On asking about the recent case of Noor Mukadam and victim blaming in our society Syeda Tuba said, “I feel very deeply for Noor because there were a lot of things which I also faced”. She also said that victim blaming is a problematic culture in our society, especially in cases of violence against women.
Yesterday, internet sensation Mathira called out her for comparing her to Noor and said her an attention seeker. She wrote on Instagram, “stop comparing your pain with someone who is no more in the world. Noor went through hell that no girl deserves”.
She further said, “stop this attention-seeking thing. Your ex-husband is no more. You never stand up for him even in his worse times”.
Syeda Tuba also addressed these accusations made against her by Mathira and wrote, “have you watched and read the interview before you decided to use such harsh and ignorant words…Instead of understanding the context, you decided to write the whole paragraph with your presumptions and assumptions”.
