Truck-coach collision on highway kills 15 near Quetta

Six people were killed and 15 wounded after a coach and truck collision on the highway connecting Quetta and Karachi near the Lak Pass on Sunday night.
The coach was at over speed and crashed into a truck coming from the opposite direction, according to the highway police.
“Three people have been killed on the spot,” said a rescue officer.
“Three other people who were critically injured could not sustain their injuries and passed away before they could reach the hospital,” he added.
Police personnel, Frontier Corps, and rescue teams moved the wounded to Civil Hospital, Quetta.
Over 6,000 people have lost their lives on the Balochistan highway in road accidents over the past year.
