Travelling by air will be more expensive from November

Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority has decided to increase its embarkation fees and airport charges from November 1st, which means plane tickets will going to be more expensive.

Pakistanis who will be traveling abroad will be charged Rs 2,800 as airport charges while foreign nationals will pay $20 each. The embarkation fee for economy and business class passengers will be raised to Rs 2,000 and 3,000 respectively.

According to the new aviation policy, aeronautical charges for international flights will also be increased by 10% and landing charges during peak hours by 25%.
