TikToker Hareem Shah moves SHC for security

TikToker Hareem Shah moved Sindh High Court (SHC) for the provision of security, citing threats to her.
TikToker Hareem Shah along with her husband Bilal Shah reached the Sindh High Court where they filed an application for the provision of security in the Sindh High Court through their lawyer.
Hareem Shah, implicating IG Sindh, Home Department and others in the petition, stated that threats were received through social media accounts.
A single bench comprising Aftab Ahmed Gorar will hear the application of Hareem Shah.
Earlier, in a case involving money laundering, TikToker Hareem Shah offered an unconditional apology.
Shah was the subject of a money laundering investigation launched by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) earlier this year after she appeared in a popular video flaunting foreign currency and boasting that she had no trouble withdrawing a sizeable sum from the South Asian nation.
The 30-year-old gave a taped statement to the case’s investigating team at the FIA office in Karachi.
