TikTok a source of sexual harassment, says petitioner

Peshawar: A two member bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) held hearing on a petition seeking censorship on TikTok application.
LHC Chief Justice Waqar Ahmed Seth and Justice Muhammed Naeem Anwar heard the case.
The court issued notices to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) directing submission of reply to the petition in seven days.
“TikTok is making youngsters egoistic. It is not just a wastage of time but a source of sexual harassment as well,” claimed the suer.
Counsel of the petitioner said that the application was banned in Bangladesh and Malaysia.
