 Three terrorists killed in North Waziristan

RAWALPINDI: Three terrorists were killed in an intelligence based operation by security forces in Mirali area of North Waziristan.

According to the media wing of armed forces, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), these terrorists were involved in target killing, kidnapping for ransom, extortion, attacks on security forces and IED explosions.

The terrorists belonged to Aleem khan Khushali group. Later, security personnel carried out sanitisation of the area.

On Jan 7, terrorists operating from Afghanistan resorted to unprovoked fire at a military check point in Mohmand district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to which a Pakistani soldier embraced martyrdom.
