LANDI KOTAL: Afghan security officials handed over three Pakistani nationals to the district administration on the Torkham border, said Deputy Commissioner Mahmood Aslam Wazir.
One of those in the group was infected with coronavirus while others were suspected of carrying it, said Minister of DC Mahmood Islam.
Farid Shah and Sirajuddin, two people from the group, tested positive for coronavirus in the Landi Kotal Afghanistan laboratory, while Shahzad Mustafa was suspected of it.
All three were taken to LRH Hospital in Peshawar. The three Pakistanis hailed from different parts of the country and were employees of Madison Company in Afghanistan, said Deputy DC Mahmood Aslam.
Pakistani citizens were sent by the Afghan government on appeal of the Pakistani embassy in Kabul.
