Three more coronavirus cases confirmed in KP, tally reaches 19 in province
Three more cases of coronavirus were reported Wednesday in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, bringing tally of the province to 19.
One of the cases was reported in Buner. The patient was shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex in Peshawar where he was tested positive for the disease. The patient had travelled from Sharjah previously, according to sources.
The authorities are quarantining his family at the DHQ Hospital Daggar, Buner.
The second patient had tested positive at Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar. He had also travelled from Dubai previously, and belongs to Hangu.
The third patient was a man in Mardan who had travelled to Saudi Arabia recently. He is admitted at the Mardan Medical Complex.
Chief Minister Mahmood Khan spoke of the confirmed cases during a press conference on Wednesday. KP Health Minister Taimur Jhagra shared details of the these three cases and encouraged everyone to work together to combat the virus.
Infected cases of coronavirus in Pakistan has reached 249, as of now.
