 Three killed as passenger train collides with cargo train in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: At least three people were killed when Jinnah Express train collided with freight train in Hyderabad on Thursday.

Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed said the dead including assistant driver and security guard, while train driver got seriously injured.

He said no report of death of a passenger was received.

Commuting of other trains will remain affected for an indefinite period of time because of this accident. Rescue teams have arrived at the site of the incident for rescue work.

The Hyderabad commissioner said the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
