Three die after consuming wine made from hand sanitiser

BAHAWALPUR: Three people have died after consuming wine made from hand sanitiser in Bahawalpur.

The spokesperson of district police Bahawalpur said that the incident took place at Bhutta Colony on Sunday night. They made wine from hand sanitiser after they could not find wine due to lockdown, following which their condition deteriorated.

Police said the three were shifted to Bahawal Victoria Hospital in critical condition, where they breathed their last.
