“This is what people want to see”: Nida Yasir responds to criticism on guest selection
Pakistan’s famous morning show host Nida Yasir talked about the criticism she faced after inviting social media sensations to her show by stating, “this is what people want to see”.
Morning show host Nida was invited to The Talk Talk Show in which she opened up about her program’s guest choice.
Nida said that she is not responsible for deserving people not getting enough credit for their achievements, but that it’s the public.
The TV host claimed that the people who are invited to her shows are the ones whom the audience is most interested in seeing.
She said that in early 2021, she invited the “Pawri Horai Hai” girl – Dananeer Mobeen – and Zara Naeem, the girl who got the highest score in the ACCA exam but the only clips from the show that went viral were of Dananeer’s.
She added that despite inviting a large number of “deserving” people to her show, neither the episode nor any little video clips went viral.
