‘This is not our culture’, Zara Noor Abbas’s Kathak dance criticised by fans
From Bushra Ansari to Asma Abbas, Zara Noor Abbas belongs to a family of multi-talented artists in the Pakistan showbiz industry. Recently, the actress shared a video of practising a Kathak-style dance with her dear teacher which has been criticised by fans.
Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a video with her dance instructor while performing an impromptu dance. Zara captioned the video, “can’t match even a bit of her elegance. But trying to shadow her in this impromptu during this live music was a dream. My beautiful Panna Anty. Teacher and darling”.
In the video, the actress has seen following the steps of her dance teacher.
The internet users responded quickly after the video became popular on social media. The keyboard warriors made fun of Zara for doing inappropriate dance routines and told her to refrain from doing so in the future. Some commented that such things don’t belong to our culture while others said they should stop copying Indians.
