ISLAMABAD: Prices of 13 different items have gone up in the country in a week. This was stated by the Federal Bureau of Statistics in its weekly review report.
According to the report, inflation had risen by 0.24 percent in the past week. The prices of 18 items declined in the last one week while prices of 20 items remained stable.
The price of potatoes has gone up by Rs 5.88 per kg in the last one week. According to the Federal Bureau of Statistics, the price of tomatoes has gone up by more than Rs 5 per kg while the price of eggs has also gone up by Rs 5.87 per dozen.
The price of live chicken increased by Rs 1 per kg and the price of powdered milk increased by Rs 1.39 per kg. According to available data, bananas have also gone up by 0.66 paise per dozen.
According to Hum News, the Federal Bureau of Statistics has said that the price of onion has declined by Rs 3.87 per kg in the last one week while the price of sugar has also declined by more than Rs 3 per kg.
